How to make the best gourmet chocolate filling for cakes

This chocolate filling is a creamy version of brigadeiro. 

Brigadeiro (Bre- ga - de - ro) is a traditional brazilian dessert that you can find in every party in Brazil.  Usually, they are bite-sized balls similar to bon-bons. However, they also can be used as cake filling when prepared in a different way.

Today I will be teaching you this delicious version of brigadeiro, also known as chocolate fudge filling.

You just need 4 ingredientes–very common in everybody’s kitchen.

1 can of condensed milk

1 cup of heavy milk

1 tbsp of butter

4 tbsp of 100% cocoa

Put the condensed milk in a pan with cocoa and stir it well. Then, put the pan on a medium-high stove and add the heavy milk and the butter. You need to constantly stir for about 10 minutes until it becomes thicker. Don't stop stirring, otherwise your filling will burn! 

When your filling becomes thicker, pour it out in a container and cover it with food plastic wrap. The plastic wrap should be touching the cream to avoid a thick crust.

Leave it at room temperature for about 5 hours. Then you can use it to fill your cake.

You can fill a 9 inch, 2 layer cake with it or a 7 inch 3 layers cake.
